Customer Satisfaction/Value and Market Research
We collaborate with Diagnostics Plus to provide a unique and efficient capability for identifying your company's impact in the marketplace and to gather Voice of the Customer data. Diagnostics Plus has been providing business-to-business customer research services since 1987.
The goal of our customer survey work is to insure that our clients focus on those issues that are important to their customers, and will increase the client's competitive position in the marketplace.
The main outcomes of a typical customer survey may include:
- Ratings of quality, service, delivery, price, and overall value compared to a normative database where available, such as with manufacturing companies.
- Comparison to major competitors on quality, service, delivery, price, and overall value.
- Customer security overall and by customer based on likelihood of repeat business and likelihood of customer to recommend. Overall customer security ratings are compared to manufacturing database.
- Ratings of importance and performance on specific factors that are unique to the clients' products and services.
Market Research
Contrasted with the customer survey, a market survey does not identify the client as a sponsor of the survey. Data is gathered from both customers and non-customers. Results are presented by customer segment. All of the other deliverables described above are provided with the addition of information about the awareness in the market place about your company's products and services. The performance ratings are more objective because the respondent is not aware of who is sponsoring the survey.
A Typical Survey Project
Beginning with a sample survey provided by Michael Couch & Associates, you can customize the survey by adding specific factors and questions that are unique to your business situation. For a customer survey, you provide a list of customers to be contacted. For a market survey, MC&A usually purchases a list of companies that are typical users of the clients' products and services. The survey can be administered by telephone or Internet. A complete report with color graphics and verbatim responses is provided along with a range of follow-up options. The total time for a customer or market survey is usually seven to eight weeks.
