The Pittsburgh Human Resources Association announced that Michael A. Couch has been elected to a three-year term on its Board of Directors. Founded at the turn of the twentieth century, the PHRA is committed to serving the HR community by providing superior professional development, networking opportunities and educational resources to enhance the value of the profession. The PHRA boasts a membership of over 1200 members.
The Human Resources Leadership Forum of Western PA announces the Michael A. Couch has been named as President of the organization for 2010 and 2011. Michael was a co-founder of organization and re-joined the Board of Directors in 2007. The HR Leadership Forum is composed of strategic HR Leaders and thinkers who seek leading-edge thought leadership and practices. As an affiliate of the national Human Resources Planning Society, the HR Leadership Forum provides cutting-edge knowledge, quality content and a valuable network of connections that focus on and integrate people and business strategy for improved performance.
